A trigger-happy policeman has terminated the life of a
Ghanaian man in Anambra state.
The police officer who reportedly fled after the attack
which took place at Aroma area of Awka yesterday has
been declared wanted.
The victim simply identified as Andem was said to be
working in the area when the officer identified as Prapra
approached and shot him at the back of the neck during
an argument.
He was rushed to Ojukwu Teaching Hospital in Awka by
sympathisers where he was confirmed dead later.
An eyewitness said it was the custom of the policeman
to shoot indiscriminately in the area.
