Pastor Enoch Adeboye
Pastor E.A Adeboye, is the General Overseer of the
Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, who is being
considered to be one of Nigeria's most popular pastors.
The pastor has recently given a stern warning to
fraudulent pastors.
According to Daily Post, he said with the increasing
incidents of fraud under the name of pastoring, whether
or not it was in the RCCG fold, must stop henceforth or
the perpetrators will face the full wrath of God.
The admonition was reportedly contained in a letter
issued to all pastors indicted in corruption cases in the
church .
Daddy G. O as he is fondly called, warned pastors to be
more forthright and honest in their handling of church
finances.
While calling on his junior pastors to charge them on
the virtues of accountability and transparency, he
charged the erring pastors “to be more responsible to
their congregation by taking care of those in need while
instructing the branch heads to have a petty cash book,
asset register, income analysis and bank book to serve
as a quality audit of the ministry’s account book.”
