As they say in Africa every day is for the thief but one day is for the house owner. Luck ran out for this man early this morning when he was caught heading out of a shop he burgled in the early hours of today.
This happened in Warri, an oil capital of Nigeria. The man was sighted by some passers-by who raised alarm, attracting others and they all proceeded to give him the worst beating of his life. By the time the police arrived, the man was in very bad shape with waste oils pours all over him. The police refused to arrest him due to his state.
The owner if the shop, arriving on the scene soon after, insisted the thief be let go since the stolen items had been recovered. The store owner didn't want to suffer the fate of most Nigerians in the hands of the police; he didn't want any police case which he owld end up paying for after making a statemen of how his store was burgled.
